Food Industry: What you get in your new collective agreement

Here you can see the main points of the new collective agreement in the food industry.

Wage increase

The hourly wage (standard wage) increases:

  • 5.00 DKK from February 24, 2025
  • 4.75 DKK from Februar 23, 2026
  • 4.50 DKK from March 1, 2027

In total DKK 14,25 per hour over the course of 3 years.

Flexible benefits scheme

The flexible benefits scheme increases by 1 % from February 23, 2026, and by an additional 1% from March 1, 2027.

Strain supplement

The strain supplement for overtime increases by:

  • 3 % from April 28, 2025
  • 3 % from February 23, 2026
  • 3 % from March 1, 2027

Other strain supplements increase by:

  • 3.5 % from April 28, 2025
  • 3.5 % from February 23, 2026
  • 3.5 % from March 1, 2027
Pension

The employer's contribution increases by 1 % to a total of 11 %.
The employee's contribution remains unchanged..

Opportunities to take time off

The opportunity to take time off and receive payment through the flexible benefits scheme is expanded. For example, parents are entitled to take time off on the child’s third sick day, and grandparents are entitled to two grandchild care days per year.

At the same time, employees are entitled to take time off to accompany close family members to medical appointments or meetings with authorities.

Senior days

Seniors are entitled to up to 46 senior days off per year. If desired, they can use the flexible benefits scheme to receive payment for the senior days.
